On behalf of Good Design Australia, I am delighted to inform you that your entry has been awarded as a Good Design Award Winner.
Judges comments on Tribe Tropical’s swimwear:
The Good Design Awards Jury praised Tribe Tropical’s swimwear commenting: “The design goal of making sun-protection trendy and acceptable has been delivered in spades. Inspired by Australian resort destinations the range appeals to children and parents. The long-term positive impact on sun-safety awareness through a product such as this is evident and in an era where damage from harmful UV sunlight is steadily growing, this is a good design solution with mass market appeal. Well done. ”
We are very thankful to have been recognised in this way, it’s an honour and something we had never dreamed of!

Best Swimwear for Babies and Toddlers
Spending valuable time with your children at the pool or at the beach on a hot day can be relaxing, rejuvenating and a great way to make special memories! Sadly it does come with risks however, through exposure to invisible ultraviolet rays from the sun.
Though sunscreen is a wonderful invention, it is not recommended for use on babies under six months of age, and sunscreen alone is not sufficient for adequate UV protection of young skin.
